One thing.

Depression makes me a terrible mother.

  1. I'm not a regular reader of your blog but I can relate to almost everything.. I know about this. I know how terrible it is, trying to be the best mother you can but the depression just ruins everything. I know other people look at me and I wonder if they say terrible things. I'm not the mother I wish I could be. I just wanted to let you know you're not alone.

  5. I feel this way daily. I try so hard to be a good mom, but feel like I'm failing miserably.

  7. I'm 52 yrs old. I've struggled with depression all my life. I've raised two children by myself and thought many times I was a horrible mom. I never participated in things with other parents, was acrophobic alot, slept alot, etc. Now that they are grown I got to say they turned out pretty damn good.😊 I musta done somethin right. 🙌
